Kate holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.


Kate completed a Certification in Zen Shiatsu from UPMC Center for Integrative Medicine, having completed the 4 Levels of training. Additionally, she completed 4 years of Master Level training in Shiatsu, Zen Shiatsu and Quantum Shiatsu. Currently, she is studying Medical Qigong and integrating off the body techniques into her work.

She has been providing both Counseling and Shiatsu treatments in private practice since 2007. Kate enjoys carrying the lineage of her teachers and is currently teaching Shiatsu Levels I & II, open to medical practitioners, healers and the public, at UPMC Center for Integrative Medicine in Shadyside.

Moshe Sherman is a certified Medical Qigong Therapist, Shiatsu Practitioner, and Reiki Practitioner.  His methods of healing combine these art forms to provide support & healing & transformation for clients.

Moshe has been teaching Qigong exercises and providing treatments for clients since 2014. He is a graduate of Inner Strength Medical Qigong Therapist Program and a Professional member of the National Qigong Association. He is currently studying Zen Shiatsu at UPMC Center for Integrative Medicine.

Moshe's ability to perceive, and communicate directly with the energy of the body brings swift clearings and coherence to the energetic and physical systems of the whole being.
